Resettlement Program
The United State Refugee Program is to provide
reception services to arriving refugees during their first 90 days in the U.S. Required services include: initial housing,
furnishings, food, clothing, orientation, counseling and assistance in
accessing programs and benefits for which refugees are eligible.
Matching Grant
The purpose of the MG
program is to help refugees attain self-sufficiency without access to public
assistance. Clients are usually enrolled
in the program by the 31st date of arrival in the US. Services provided under this grant are for
case management, employment services and maintenance assistance. A match component is required of the agency
for each refugee enrolled in the program.
Refugee Cash Assistance
This program provides
cash assistance to eligible clients who are referred to state-funded employment
programs for assistance in securing employment.
RSS Employment Program
This employment
program works with clients for job readiness, job search and other barriers
encountered in obtaining employment.
State Funded Extended Case Management Program
This state funded program helps eligible client remove barriers to find employment. Services may include health and emergency services and/or cultural adjustments for healthy family services.
Victims of Trafficking
In conjunction with Central Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking increases public awareness & identification of human trafficking cases. Provides victims of human trafficking w/comprehensive social and referrals for medical services.
Greenleaf
Offers mental health counseling to newly arrived refugees.
Immigration Clinic
Clinic assists refugees w/immigration applications including but not limited to adjustment of status (Green Card), Employment Authorization Documents, family petitions, citizenship & travel documents.
RST Food Pantry
RST works with the Capital Area Food
Bank to provide additional food resources for clients in need.
