Resettlement Program
The United State Refugee
Program is to provide reception services to arriving refugees during their
first 90 days in the U.S. Required services include: initial housing,
furnishings, food, clothing, orientation, counseling and assistance in
accessing programs and benefits for which refugees are eligible.
Matching Grant
The purpose of the MG
program is to help refugees attain self-sufficiency without access to public
assistance. Clients are usually enrolled
in the program by the 31st date of arrival in the US. Services provided under this grant are for
case management, employment services and maintenance assistance. A match component is required of the agency
for each refugee enrolled in the program.
Refugee Cash Assistance
This program provides
cash assistance to eligible clients who are referred to state-funded employment
programs for assistance in securing employment.
Immigration Clinic
Clinic assist refugees with immigration applications including but not limited to adjustment of status (Green Card), Employment Authorization Documents (EAD), family petitions, citizens, and travel documents.
RST Food Pantry
RST work in cooperation with Tarrant Area Food Bank to provide food for eligible clients in need of additional food resources not yet receiving food stamps or have had benefits cut within 6 months of arrival.
